The House on a Crystal Plate
I had helped Glenda decorate her condo, selecting new lighting, beautiful granite countertops, carpeting, shutters, draperies and paint colors. There was a wonderful preserve with a lake at the rear side of the property. She loves wildlife and would show me hawks, deer, alligators and even a fox. The place became her sanctuary.
Her best friend lived above her and they were constantly looking at real estate, visiting model homes and exploring other neighborhoods. There were two reasons she eventually decided to move from this home she loved. The first was that they had found out that a new development was going in behind them and would destroy their beloved wilderness. The second was that they had discovered a new community with lower association fees. They quickly found 2 homes near each other in the new community and decided to take the leap.
When they moved, she had a hard time adjusting to the new house, complaining about everything. She considered tearing down walls, adding a tub to the master bathroom, changing the kitchen cabinets & countertops and adding air conditioning to the garage storage area. She had the place painted, changed the kitchen pendant lights, installed shutters, added hurricane screens to the lanai and bought new furniture. Still, she lamented over the old condo, regretting the move, unsure that she had made the right decision.
When her mom fell ill that year, she moved to the East coast to take care of her, not sure what she was going to do about the new house. Only a few months went by before her mom passed. She was able to sell her mom’s place but labored through the process of sorting out the belongings of her mom’s life, bringing back loads of cherished things she couldn’t let go of. For a while, her house looked like an explosion, stuff was all over, both hers and her mom’s. I remember opening a cupboard after most of the things had been put away. It was packed full with a random assortment of kitchen items that made it unusable. During this time, I had noticed that she was speaking in fragmented sentences, her thoughts, just like her things, were in disarray.
As I sat in meditation, ready to assess her property, I asked to be clear so our friendship wouldn’t overshadow the work. I found myself on the street in front of her house. There were 2 clear glass-like planes that were pushing against each other with a great deal of pressure. They went into the ground and ran diagonally through the land under her house. I heard the words, tectonic plates, a geological term I would later look up. I entered the house and saw a darker energy on the left side and a lighter energy on the right. Then, the whole house began to rock, reminding me of a baby bassinet, the hinge at the front and rear of the property. It would go up to the right and down to center, never swinging to the left. Soon, I found myself at the back right side of the property and I saw a light dusty cloud billowing from the ground.
When I arrived to do the clearing, we discussed what I had seen. She told me the neighbor on the right had just put in a pool and the land had been disturbed. They overfilled the swale that ran between their homes and she was afraid there would be a drainage problem when the heavy rains came. I thought this was why I had seen the house rocking and knew we needed to stabilize the foundation.
We talked about the rigid tectonic plates that constitute the Earth’s outer shell. She told me she lived on a crystal plate. She had taken a picture of a very unusual map that showed the area this crystal plate covered (see below). We looked at it and saw her community would be on the easternmost edge. I had read that tectonic plates move and I wondered if some kind of pressure was happening. We spoke further about the area and the mining operation that is near the community. The homeowners often hear loud booms and we wondered together if this was affecting the stability of the land she was on.
The following week, an unexpected meeting was announced for the community. Youngquist Mines was bringing a registered seismologist so homeowners could voice their concerns and have their questions answered. Glenda attended the zoom meeting and found out they were mining for agate. It is used in making roads and is the sparkle you see in the tarmac. The company claimed they were moving northward and the blasts would not be disturbing their community. One homeowner complained that there was a lot of white dust all over their home. They were told that gasses and dust are released in the mining process but it all stays underground. It seemed odd to me that I was shown so many symbols relating to the geology of this land if the mining was having no impact.
We set about clearing her home, first testing for EMF congestion using my dowsing rods and then bringing out the holy tools. She is a Reiki master and often does healings in her home. There was a considerable amount of congested energy where she worked, and also in her living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. We cleared with sound, sage, incense, holy water and said our blessings and prayers. We re-tested the energy and saw that it was clear and the house felt calmer and lighter.
As I was packing up my tools, we relaxed into a friendly discussion. She had told me earlier that she had been replaced at the psychic fair where she had volunteered her Reiki services for years. At the same time, her best friend wasn’t returning her calls. I asked how things were going with her friend and the psychic fair. The friendship was repaired but she was thinking of finding a new outlet to do her Reiki work. Then, unexpectedly, she started telling me about a time when she was a little girl.
She had gone to school one day and all the kids in class, except one, had on “I Hate Glenda” buttons. She went on to tell me this was the same time that her father had been sent to prison and then her mom had sent her to live with her grandparents. Her mom was too busy to care for her because she had a new boyfriend.
There was a ripple in the space-time continuum as she told me these things from the past. I could feel the emotional connection reflected in the current situation she was in. I had seen the house as a rocking bassinet which clearly indicated babies, childhood and mothering. The dust clouds emerging from underground were a sign that something buried under pressure needed to be released.
A normal bassinet has a gentle back and forth rocking motion that is in harmony and balanced. Self-worth is a most precious and important part of our development. To be loved, nurtured, protected and given the tools and teachings to grow into a productive human being isn’t something we can assume all people have been given.
Glenda has a beautiful granddaughter that she delights in. Perhaps all these events, the unsettled land, the sudden exclusion from a sacred community, the misunderstanding between friends, are like doors closing, so the brightness of the correct path shines through. I believe the unconditional love of her grandchild will bring healing to her own inner child. Today I’m wearing an “I Love Glenda” button.
